There is nothing like the feeling you get when you create your own perfect wire wrap or complete a knotted item all on your own. But even better is the feeling that you get when a friend admires your jewellery and asks you "Where did you get your bracelet ?" and you simply beam and say "I made it myself".
At The Little Bead Shop we believe the best way to get to that feeling is by learning the techniques that are used when creating your own jewellery.
Our beading workshops focus on a variety of techniques, providing you with the skills to create a wide range of jewellery. Learn the basic technique of Bead Stringing and Jewellery making in Beginners I or learn how to knit with wire in our Wire Knitting Workshop. All of our classes are taught by our own staff, which ensures you'll receive continuing support from us long after the class is over.
Our Beading Classes run on weekday evenings and are suitable for beginners. They are held at The Little Bead Shop. We start at 6:30 pm and finish up around 8:30 pm. We keep our classes small you ensure that students get lots of attention. The cost for each class is £15 and this includes your tuition, a loan of tools and findings but your excludes beads. Beginners
Don't know your crimps from your tiger tail?? Then this is the class for you. Join us and learn how to string a beaded necklace and/or bracelet. Take inspiration from our variety of design examples and let your imagination run wild! This button necklace is just one example of the kind of jewelery you could wear home. This could be the beginning of a new hobby or even career!

Free Form Wire Workshop Helen offers you a great opportunity to learn a new and truly innovative wire working technique using just your hands and pliers. You will create a bracelet or necklace to wear home.

Knitting With Wire
Our Wire Wizard Helen shows you how to create this amazing piece of jewellery by knitting with wire and beads. Knitting experience is essential for this class.

You don't need to be able to crochet or even knit to weave up this pretty and delicate chain with just your fingers! Far easier to make than it is to photograph, you wont believe how pretty this little chain looks when worn layered as a bracelet or necklace!

If you enjoy our wire work classes then you will be sure to love this class. Suitable even for the newcomer to working with wire you will make this pretty bracelet with your fingers, wire and beads!! The only tricky part is what colour of beads and wire to use!

Earring Extravaganza
Come and explore the variety of techniques for making earrings. Take inspiration from our design examples and let your imagination run wild! You can expect to make at least 2 or 3 pairs of earrings in the class, maybe even more!

Indulge your inner Princess by joining us and making a stunning tiara. You'll use wire and sparkly Swarovski Crystals, or classic pearls in this fun class. Be glam this Christmas!!!

Charm Bracelet
In this class you will learn the essential jewellery making technique of wire wrapping whilst making a stunning charm bracelet! You can make one like in this photo to the left or take inspiration from all the pretty bracelets on the shop floor.

*Lampwork Open Studio Day - 27th November*
Open Studio days are proving to be popular and the next one will be held on Thursday the 27th of November. From 2 - 4 pm you are welcome into the Studio to watch as Emma melts glass and makes beautiful glass beads at her torch.
